Education Department

Students of the Educational Project have access to all equipment used at MATA as well as a multi-media learning lab where they can practice the basics of multi-media authoring. Several schools and other youth organizations have included media education into their curricula by producing documentaries, talk shows, school plays, and other types of programs.

The Education Department lab is stocked with:

• Four Mac PowerPC G4s
• All computers have Final Cut Pro Studio version 5.0 which includes Final Cut Pro (video editing), DVD Studio Pro (DVD authoring), Live Type (character generation) and Soundtrack Pro (music and sound effects generation)
• All computers running on latest Mac OSX operating system
• Cable internet connected
